Ingredients

  • For the crust:
    • 2 cups Oreo cookie crumbs
    • 1/4 cup melted butter
    For the cheesecake:
    • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
    • 1 cup powdered sugar
    • 1 1/2 cups whipped cream
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 1/2 cup maraschino cherries, chopped
    • A few drops of pink food coloring (optional)
    For topping:
    • Whipped cream
    • Oreo crumbs
    • Cherry pieces

Directions

  • 1. For the crust: Mix Oreo crumbs and melted butter. Press into the bottom of a springform pan. Chill for 10 minutes.
    2. For the cheesecake: Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in whipped cream and vanilla extract. Gently stir in chopped maraschino cherries and a few drops of pink food coloring if desired.
    3. Spread the cheesecake mixture over the chilled crust. Smooth the top and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
    4. Garnish with whipped cream, Oreo crumbs, and cherry pieces before serving.
