4 large eggs, separated

- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a 15×10-inch jelly roll pan with parchment paper.
Make the Batter:
In a large bowl, beat egg yolks with 1/2 cup granulated sugar until thick and pale.
In another bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
In a separate bowl, beat egg whites until soft peaks form. Gradually add the remaining 1/4 cup sugar, beating until stiff peaks form.

Immediately invert the cake onto a clean towel dusted with powdered sugar. Peel off parchment and roll the cake up in the towel. Let cool completely. - Prepare the Filling:
Unroll the cooled cake gently. Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
Spread whipped cream over the cake, and arrange banana slices on top. Roll the cake back up. - Add the Ganache:
